Plans for Incinerator causes fiery debate
A bitterly divided council have voted in favour of building an incinerator on the fringe of the Antrim borough. Plans for the Energy from Waste power plant at Ballyutoag Road has caused strong opposition from residents and Friends of the Earth.
Alderman Mervyn Rea argued that the Council should be fired up and offer their backing.
